Tanabe Drop with 7th gc wheels? Options

Hey guys I have tanabe df210 springs coming to me right now with kyb gr2 struts but I'm a little concerned. My 6gc wheels and tires are off a 7gc gts wheels and tires... Which are 16" wheels if I'm correct... Now the tanabe df210 says they drop 2.2" front and 1.5" rear. Will my front wheels be hitting my chassis? I measured it but it seems really close and it's not an exact exact measurement so I'm just wondering if anyone else did this kind of drop and will I make it without hitting the chassis? Any pictures?

Hahahaha thanks guys(: just a little paranoid:/ cuz I have springs that hit my 2007 camry SE chassis lol but that's prolly because I had bigger wheels(:

Lol, yea. You're gonna have to go a lot lower than that to hit chassis. The Camry was probably just rubbing the fender. So IF anything happens to rub, you probably would just need a small camber adjustment. You can talk to 808Celica or HarolFastwaker about that, or other member who know about camber. Hope you guys don't mind me using your names.

You wont need to run neg camber with that set up, im running very little negative camber with a 2.5 in drop and 25mm spacers and i rub very very rarely on the front fender, back had to be rolled, but thats another story

Depends on your wheels' offset. Not the drop.

That mostly depends on the camber, not the spacers. The spacers just bring the wheels out horizontally. But those springs shouldn't drop it enough to where a normal alignment can't adjust the camber. Even then, there's always camber bolts. But you won't need camber bolts.

Another question popped into mind!

I just had a friend told me that with that large of a drop; 2.2" the KYB Gr-2's might not be able to sustain the shocks. Is that true? Like it doesn't absorb enough causing the shocks to blow...

But I'm guessing Kaos, that you've had the Tanabe DF210s + KYB Gr-2s for a while right?

Also; Will I be needing Bumpstops; is this gonna bottom out? I will be installing tomorrow.
