My low fuel light stays on. But my fuel gauge works fine. I researched around, apparently the "ball" may be stuck? Does anyone have this issue in the pass?

that light is fuct on every toyota I've ever owned except my old 1995 3s-fe celica st202 it worked fine but i never messed with anything on that car.

co-incidentally that light stops working when i start swapping bulbs.

on my 1996 3s-ge celica st202 the light stopped working , i changed the bulb several times, looked for fuses, ran my tank empty and then filled to the top. nothing could get it back short of pulling out the sender unit (apparently it has a separate sender unit for the light)

in my 1996 gt4 st205 the previous owner had done some bulb swaps behind the dash and the fuel light had died on him so before i even got the car

we also have a 1995 toyota carina ed st202 (basically a 4 door sedan built on the celica platform for the jdm market) now this one is different, as i was messing around with bulbs, I put an LED into the fuel light socket, now the fuel light stays ON even on full tank, I'm going to try again with the original bulb.
