Will it just be a matter of changing some wires to match obdI?

or posibly would even a 3sfe dizzy work? obdI

try going to toyodiy site and compare the two part numbers for alternators, thats one way of eliminating that fact.

I know the plugs are different, eg different colours in different places but a few wire swaps would fix that wouldnt it? Thats what I did with my starter motor from an OBD2

I dont think a 3sge would work but we get ALOT of 3sfe over here so i figured with the same head would that work

i know that the 94-95 is adjustable and the 96-99 isnt, also cali specs and fed spec ones are different too

That was my main concern, so the 96+ is a set timing? Maybe it wouldnt line up with the head?
