Hi folks!
I am looking for something special. I want to monitor my cars sensors (Air/fuel, temperatures, etc), but instead of adding gauges in my A pillar, I was thinking of a more software based system? Perhaps able to connect via a video cable to an existing navigation unit. (Which I have). Do someone know of something like this? |

there aren't any guages that output a video feed for you to hook up to a monitor that i know of.
one way would be to integrate an EMS to your car by logging the data that your ECU reads and displays it on a laptop monitor. the only data logging software i've tinkered around with is the Hondata S300. It's pretty cool as you can customize your gauge cluster display to your liking but i'm not sure what other EMS systems out there have this same feature. below is an example of the 'stock' display template for the hondata logger just to give you an idea. What you're looking for is the HKS CAMP2

I think the Car PC method I think will be challenging but rewarding -------------------- Mike W
