Just finished putting in a Godspeed Al radiator. It mounted up fine, but it ended up shifting towards the battery about 1-1.5 inches. The radiator top retainer brackets have to be installed on an angle. Since the fan mounts protrude 1/2 inch, the drivers side fan wont mount up without modification. Is this normal, or am i just paranoid and complaining for no reason?

Otherwise, with just one fan, i dont even hit the 1/2 mark on the temp gauge. It sits just below. Must be quite a bit more efficient than the stock rad...

I just put one in a few weeks ago and I didn't have any issues mounting it up.

My fans didnt work either... Both of the motors went out. Try unplugging one and the other separately and start with the a/c on. For some reason, if one was out on mine, neither worked (linked in series??).

Here are some pics of how mine sits.

why didn't you just buy an autozone or pepboys oem replacement radiator. I have one of these for my car myself but it was installed by the previous owner. OEM aftermarket replacement would of fit just fine and these godspeed are only intended for high output turbo machines of 400+hp.

The bottom should have 2 tabs that the radiator fits into. You may have received the wrong radiator because that does seem weird.
Does the bottom at least match the rad you took out?

yeah its the exact same as what i got murray from oreileys. i needed it asap thats why i received it plus a lifetime warranty. (honestly i would keep that car forever ha ha ha) but it seems like my mounts, the rubber i think is cracking.

edit::
now i just checked my receits, i have one for a coolant fan switch, and the temp sender, but my fans wouldnt kick on even when i pulled the temp sensor out.

that happens when the rubber boots arent sitting in properly, take it out and try to drop the radiator down straight with the rubber boots attached to the prongs.

if necessary get under the car and pull the rubber boots thru the hole, one side may be kinked and out of the hole.

if it still doesnt line up get someone to chop those prongs off and move them over and weld them back into the correct position.

It is the radiator... It stumped me as to how it could be stock, but it fits in place at the bottom. There is a huge temp sensor hole that doesnt fit the stock GT sensor. I picked one up and it was almost half of the diameter... I ended up getting an oil drain plug and using a ton of RTV on it. Other than that, it isnt an issue that it fits a little to the right, it just looks kind of off. Im putting my T25 in on Saturday and will be redoing all of the lines coming to/from the radiator anyway...

Im not too concerned, especially enough to warrant me having to pull the cooling stuff out again just to weld the retainers an inch to the left. It works and it seems like it will hold up better than the factory radiator, thats all that im worried about at this point. Id modify the top retainers before i chopped and welded the bottom ones.

zfjohnson07 - You can get relays at a junk yard. They usually dont charge for them around here, but if they did, they wouldnt cost much... One is a 5-prong with an 86a in the center and the other is a 4 prong without the 86a connection. Any standard relay will fit if you can one of each. Radio Shack has them if you cant make it out to a junk yard. Getting them from Autozone or Toyota was about $56 each when i checked for mine...

Id prob forgo the switch idea. It is a lot of work considering that it is a plug and play fix for the relays, plus, they really dont stick that often. Ive been using them for a long time with car alarms. I havent had a problem yet on any of the cars that ever came into the install bay or on any of my cars either. Id just swap and call it good.
