So while I was doing my oil change I found out that there was a crack on the bottom floor board that doesn't seem to affect anything... when I feel through it; it is just metal/steel... but I was wondering will this have any long term effect? Does it affect something in some way? I don't feel carpet or anything; just metal/steel so I wasn't too worried about water or anything getting into it...
By the impression mark it looks like the idiotic previous owner jacked up the car in the wrong place... |

I would seal it back up for good measure given the yearly rain you receive

if you dont have a welder I would think jb weld should be fine. I believe you can also use fiberglass resin

Is it even fiber glass though? It feels like just a hard cardboard.

most people now are using fiberglass resin for body work, I would just clean the surface area with a brass wire brush first.
