Finally made a progress thread! It may not be the best celica on the forum but since I bought it, its slowly come together and I've learnt a lot since I bought it around 3 years ago.
The reason I bought it was the price and I always had a thing for 6th gens and supras since I was a kid , It came up cheap and I went and looked at it, got the price knocked down further and fixed the minor problems and even 3 years on with nearly 100k added it isn't worth much less than what I paid . Gonna be hard to remember everything in order but here goes... When I first got it, completely stock apart from fully sik chrome wheels haha Needed new tyres so I ditched the chrome wheels, added an intake and added a 2 1/4 exhaust...although its still fairly quiet I regret it Next to fix up a few dodgy interior parts and gearboot and the common door wear fixed KYB and Eibach springs arrived, which now I wish I waited for seeing as It would cost me more than half with our exchange rate now! Added fogs with a new bumper I put in after a stupid accident of a tree falling on the road in heavy fog. The day I put the new bumper on I hit a roo that night! and cracked the bumper and a fog, best luck! Added this when getting all the bumper parts After I fixed it all with the new springs in with many hours spent trying to undo the top nut without a rattle gun, still not happy with the height at the back, something I may fix later down the track. Finally got into doing some real mods! and I picked up a whiteline sway bar. Sway bar lift when entering driveways haha Can't remember putting these in but picked up some affordable orions and a big improvement to stock! JDM tails and clear side indicators Picked up some stock wheels for there light weight and the aim to put good tyres on them heres a few more and the only picture of the "engine bay" I have, helping out older brother who me and a mate shared for a few months for bush bashing and now I want one! great cars! Still got many plans, thats If I don't sell it. Tint, Get a stock exhaust, new strut mounts, new interior door panels on passenger side, side skirts, fix damage up at rear 1/4 panel, respray front and spoiler, new springs possibly then just maintaining it and learning how to do jobs I haven't done on cars, which this car has helped alot with. I also wouldn't mind putting in polyurethane bushes and camber bolts later down the track but for now they're just ideas. This post has been edited by Euphoria: May 10, 2011 - 5:37 AM |

So nice and clean. The JDM tails look great on this colour.
Any plans for the engine? -------------------- |
