Ok, i found an Gt engine at a junk yad, im not sure of the milage but i will chekc tomorrow, but would it be worth getting and building up just for a nicer cheaper easier engine. I have an St and really dont feel like going through the trouble of all that j-spec engine crap, and was just think would it be worth building up this gt then droping it in, just to get more like 150-160 hp?? any ideas.....

i was thinking of this also just because it would be simpler for me i already have a GT and i don't want crazy power i could just get a diffrent engine and build it with lower compression pistons and slap a turbo on.
sounds good in theory anyway but i don't know how well it could work out.

You could... however I dont see your logic in it. As I see it droping in a GT engine into an ST would require much of the custom work as needed for a 3sgte.... If your gona go through all that... you may as well do it right. Or just get a 4age since it does mate with your tranny and takes alot less work then the GT engine would... plus its faster biggrin.gif *sorry if this is a little convoluted typed it during java class imbetween teachers walkin by*

Well the only reason i was thinking this is, because i can get the engine from the juk yard complete for only like 200-250 and was thinking that it would be a lot easier to just build up a gt then doing other crazy **** and importing in stuff and all, but i do see yuor point....I think im going to jut save up for another used bmw 5 series, then maybe do some crazy engine **** to my celi
