Hi guys,
I need help for my project rav4 with ST215 engine. Some vacuum lines are capped. So my mechanic needs info to where this hoses go to. Here's the picture of the hoses (encircled in red) that in jeopardy. Thanks in advance for the help guys. |

damn muppet, the page you took those photos from tell you exactly what they are. obviously if you cant find the VSV's that look like those then you don't have them.... so either get them, or use your brain to eliminate systems that formerly required them.
i'd have no faith in a mechanic who couldn't figure out a couple VSVs..... trace the tubes and find the device which takes the switched vacuum/boost feed. figure out if you need it or not. and just to spell it out to you as exactly what the toyodiy page would tell, the left one is for factory boost control the right one is for aircon idle up. -------------------- Mike W
