 speed sensor and tach signal to gauges |

95 5sfe. my chiltons book doesn't show me anything about the gauge wiring, tach, or speed sensor. I need to know which wire is which so I can wire it into my Autronic SM4. I think i'll just need to know the one tach wire and the one speedo wire on the back of the gauges.
Unless the speed sensor sends the signal directly to the gauges instead of the ECU, does anyone know? This post has been edited by match220: May 25, 2011 - 12:27 PM -------------------- -Jay

THE VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (SPEED SENSOR), INSTALLED INSIDE THE COMBINATION METER, DETECTS THE VEHICLE
SPEED AND INPUTS A CONTROL SIGNAL TO TERMINAL SPD OF THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ENGINE ECU). hope that answers your question! if you need the wiring diagram for it lmk -------------------- -Tyler

And I also need to know which wire color comes from the stock ecu to the gauges. So I can send the signal to the speed gauges.
