Been having a look around for some good options for a rear extension using either splitters of a entire rear apron.

So far I know of 3 options ...

What I believe is the SSIII type splitter:

I don't really know the name for this type ... other than what it's listed as under Vincent's site:

And the last type isn't a splitter, but what I think is a rear apron:

either:

Or the Zephyr Lip:

Firstly, I wanted to ask if there were any other options. Which do you think would be most suitable? Also if there were any other international stores for these parts other than Vincent's site. (Like Vincent doesn't sell the zephyr apron, I don't think...)

I used to really like the Zephyr style ... but not I"m not so sure it works with everything else ... and the SSIII splitter just looks ... forced/ alien. Like it doesn't belong, I don't know, could be just me. But the last type of splitter I'm worried about whether it achieves what I set out to, in having a lowered type look for the rear end. (well at least not so high up)

FYI: I've currently got a Veilside design front, intend to get the matching skirts, but hate the look of the matching rear apron. As for the wing ... I'm intending to get the euro style raiser block. (Similar to GT4 SSIII raiser blocks, except thinner)

Cheers guys.

thats pretty much your common options, the zephyr lip is so sharp edged, you have to be careful what you flow it with on the sides.

I know you said International, but seeing as it says your in Australia, have you checked out http://www.carmate.com.au/?
They have a couple of Full rear aprons, and a different style corner ones like the SSIII.

if you tell us your front and sides, we can tell you what you should run on your rear.

In the order you have them pictured:

SSIII rear splitters
TRD rear splitters
C-One rear lip
404a rear lip

In my opinion, TRD or the C-one style will fit nicely

just a note, trd replicas are rounded at the tip while real trds are more sharper edged and pointed, first one is a replica second one "looks" original.

Thanks a lot guys. Like i said, I've currently got a veilside/invader style front, which i do like a lot. I'm planning on getting some matching side skirts. But I'm not a fan of the matching rear bumper.

What would go best with that?

Never heard it called apron, only bumper lips and end caps. the UK slang for end caps is spats..

I don't think splitter is the right word, because aren't they supposed to be flat and low to the ground to direct wind away from underneath the car?

Like this Evo has an adjustable splitter

I've already got one of these:

No it's not the same kit, The front and side skirt, kinda match (it's a VS style front bar, VS2 side skirts and a Zephyr or "Z" style rear lip).

But I don't think it'd be too bad.

The front should look like this:

Just wondering if the side skirts and rear lip would work well together.

Not my cup of tea but I thought AUS has a bunch of JDM parts, is the USDM aftermarket look, the style you are going for?
