Hey
Got a 3SGE and often been looking for cheap as the dealer here is way too expensive for me It's not easy to find much 3SGE parts, but plenty of 3SGTE though, so I just want to know if I safely can buy the 3SGTE timing belt kits and water pump and then install on my 3SGE? Thanks to anyone helping Jacob |

the timing belt is the same.
the water pump 'might' be the same but the parts catalog shows different part numbers. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

agree with azian_advanced about the timing belt, any reason why you need it? also just want to be sure, 3rd gen 3sge right?
just compared on toyodiy. 3S-GE water pump 3S-GTE water pump 16100-79235 16100-79225 so there is a difference what it means I dont know -------------------- |

so did anybody ever find the answer again if you can use 3sgte water pump on 3sge. Wouldn't it be near the same thing excpet the fact that the 3sgte will pump in more water which would be better for the 3SGE to keep it cooler?? I just going with logic hear not much thought put into it.
