its basically an S14 Silvia with a crappy engine. think 2.4L truck engine instead of the 2L turbo powerplant

sorry, no chance
my uncle has one(92 le with VLSD) and i have a key to it to drive it when ever i want. great cars, handle very well and they are faster than even a lightly modded GT the 95+ 240's are a little heavier with softer suspension but still the same power. unless he blows the lanuch(which if he doesnt have VLSD, he very well might) or misshifts, you will lose. \but go ahead and race him anyway, it wont be a total masacre, most tend to run low 16's when stock, IHE and VLSD helps them into the 15's GT's run what, mid to high 16's? -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

yea, it kinda does suck, but there is one person with the 2.4l engine, built and turboed running 10's its not a horrible engine, dohc 2.4l 4 cylinder, makes for some good torque and theres more displacement there to make good use of a turbo. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

yes it been forged from head to toe, and many other things. it is one of the best lookin 302's ive ever seen. hes done everything himself, right now hes workin on an old camaro to use strictly for drag racing. his dad has too much money edit: also its a v8 .302 more powerful then the new GTs This post has been edited by blkGT: Dec 12, 2003 - 8:32 AM |

actually the variant of the engine in the 240, the ka24de was never seen in a truck, although most people claim it is, the engine in the truck is the ka24e. now the 89-90(i believe) had the ka24e, like the truck, but the s14 generation, was never offered with the single overhead truck engine --------------------
