OK, at school I'm doing the sound controls for something there. I guess it's their tradition each year to move people's cars, yet they try and fail miserably each year to get the teacher who controls the whole ordeal. Well, this year...I was doing the sound and a few of the people in this thing are my friends. I put together a plan and got the teacher's keys...first person to do it ever. I move his car from the front lot to the side lot all the way in the corner. OK...now here's the situation in question...

I guess in this time, they took my keys from my jacket...after I had told everyone there not to do my car (there's one thing they pissed me off), so they move my car and in the process reving the car excessively high and since it's winter and about 10 degrees my oil was rather cold and so this may cause problems in the future...5k revs when u start up a car isn't good for it...i found this out from a girl who was standing outside when they did it(so that's the second thing that pissed me off), I am pissed now because the fact that I helped them why would they get me (third thing that pissed me off), and then I get to my car...and I see scratch marks around the key hole where I guess they couldn't see the key hole and scratched up paint (fourth thing that pissed me off), and then I get in to see my volume cranked...oh yeah and my tweeters are now blown out (fifth thing that pissed me off)...

Was I in the wrong to them to fcuk off?

yes and no. kind of hypocritical to do that to someone and then get mad when someone does it to you. kinda like my friend who yells at ppl for gettin near his 2002 mustang gt, then he always steals ppls keys and takes there car. but then again they did mess with ur car which u didnt do to the other ones. so i guess your like 80% right 20% wrong imo. altho i have a temper and probaly would have pulled out my bat that i keep in my trunk. (which i used the otehr day when some fag got stole my faceplate)

sorry about that tho bro

I agree, you damage something, you should pay for it. Personally,I wouldn't have left my keys in a bad location. That's like walking around a knife factory nude. You just don't leave it out there, you know?

would like to do that here.. but the police would call it an offensive weapon and you'd end up with more of a police record than the person you beat up for messing with your car..

personally i'd just use my fists and kicks.. - kickboxing is a useful hobby sometimes...

The british legal system is a bit screwed up - take the tony Martin case - he was a farmer who shot a shotgun in his own home to scare of 2 burglars.. he killed one and ended up serving time for defending his own property.. guess that wouldn't happen on your side of the pond though... the surviving burglar then tried to sue for sustaining injuries.

Well, I've taken all advice into account. Obviously I know it's a bit hypocritical to get mad about it, but if we're all on the same side and then they go backstabbing you...you get a bit pissed trust me. It's not just the fact that they did it to me, but more the fact that they did it to me after I helped them do the impossible.

Anyways, yeah they did it to my Celica. It's the only one of my cars I drive in the winter.

Also, I left my keys in my jacket, which was in an area kind of hidden and also many people around. I figured thye wouldn't go into my crap at all much less in front of a crapload of people. Oh well, I'm getting the engine checked out today...it seems to be spitting a lot of smoke out the exhaust...more than usual frown.gif

Yeah, the Tony Martin case is disturbing, how did you people over there ever let the Anti-gun crowd get enough power to confiscate your guns? I read the court originally gave him LIFE for defending his home with a gun... against 3 burglars with a total of 80 previous arrests between them...Declared him a menace to burglars. He actually served 3 years b4 the public made enough noise to get him released. And the government even gave the criminals money for the lawyer to sue him with,
If we dont wake up soon, we will have the same thing here...

Two of my friends were gonna do this same thing to my car, ironicly.....but i found out of course cuz somebody who was in on it felt bad doing it to me. See, they have this tradition of liking to "punk" people, and ive been involved in a few that i thought were totally harmless. But for one, i would never steal somebodys keys and move their car on them if i knew they'd care. And my friends know i love my car, so its a good thing i carry my keys in my pocket all the time, and never let even my best friends borrow them unattended... rolleyes.gif Otherwise there would have been some @ss to kick that night. wink.gif
