This is ridiculous. I have been searching for an alternator bracket for my car since I got the engine. JDM mr2 3sgte Gen III, I didn't know when I got the engine that I would have this much trouble finding an alt bracket. I resorted to sending a message to all of the ebay sellers that are selling gen III engines asking if any of them had parts as well. Unfortunately everyone but one person responded saying they don't have it. The one guy that said he has one told me he wants $250 for it. I have been more irritated than anything that someone would offer a price that high, I haven't even responded to him yet. I'll give him $50, that's it, and I think that's a bit high for a dumb bracket.

Right now I'm considering an electric power steering pump and replacing my regular pump with the alt bracket/alternator, but if I do that I have to pull off the crank pulley and change it out to the mr2 one. I'm really hoping to find a decently priced one from someone so I don't have to resort to that.

I know ebay isn't the place to find parts for this engine/car. I've had trouble finding stuff for it on ebay. The only parts I"ve been able to find have been out of australia and the UK. Other than that I have only found complete engines. But still I email the members every now and then asking if they have extra parts from their complete engines they sell. I"m sure one of them will get a dud that they have to part out.
