 Clutch pedal spring replacement, Anyone got the part number and/or replaced it before |

Clutch pedal's been soft for the past year or so. Finally decided on replacing the clutch spring behind the pedal. Anyone ever done this before? if you got the part number hit it up also.

Don't waste your time. The spring has nothing to do with pedal feel. That's all in the design of the pressure plate. If the clutch is still holding then you have nothing to worry about

Torsion Spring / Spring Holder this should be all i need, we'll see what Toyota says tomorrow. i think you have another problem. all that spring is for is to assist in pulling the pedal up, there is not alot of tension in it and most of that work is from the pressure plate pushing on the throwout bearing, pushing on the forks, pushing the slave back in pushing the hydraulics back in the system.

do you need the spring? my friend said you dont actually need it, but with all the **** he thinks he knows, i just thought it would be worth asking.
