how bad? is it curable? mine is starting to get bad. Just try sanding it down first before u decide to replace it. maybe it's not that deep.

Out of the military for a year now and back to school in Oregon, i told myself that when i was getting back home that i will get a cleaner celica and i did!

So as i was on my way home from school. I saw a white facelift celica parked in the front of a car dealership for $2700. I told my girl to turn around so I can check her out because my current celica just had way to many issues (suspension, rust, mileage, tranny, and overall ride was not comfy). So I got out and checked out the white celica and when i peeked through the window i saw the odometer showing 80k MILES! I couldnt believe it so i asked the salesman if i can check it out. I looked at the engine bay and trunk and it looked mint as hell. It seemed to be untouched and I ended up test driving and the next day i walked to dealership and bought it with little sleep because I was just way to excited and couldnt let a mint celi go to waste. Sold the beater to a good buddie of mine and he even let me swap a few parts from her (door panels, trd knob, few miscellaneous pieces)

Current specs:
No A/C
No Sunroof
No Cruise Control
Stock radio
some dents and dings but absolutely no rust/bondo! biggrin.gif

Installed:
Jdm taillights
nice bright led plate lights
optima battery
Trd shiftknob

A little work i did today on my day off! sorry i sold my DSLR so pics are from my Iphone5c...

Headliner was dirty so i decided to reupholster it. Easy since i didnt need to remove a sunroof =) took me 8 years to finally do it =P

Painted visors and plastic pieces black. I jacked up the plastic cover for the mirror so i gotta pick that up before i paint the mirror and dome.

Decided to paint a few pieces in the bay also, and ended up steel wooling/sanding the valve cover and intake manifold a little bit =)

Wiper arms needed to get touched up

Painted the heat shield , sorta unsure if i like it or not. Should i do it wrinkle black?

Next on the list
-megan coilovers
-tires for my enkei rpf1s that have been laying around for years now
-looking for sway bars, endlinks, and front and rear strut bars

Thanks for viewing! More pics to come! smile.gif

i got some Nasty calluses aka trophys ! wink.gif

Always told myself that I would fix up a celica, so I started stockpiling parts while i was stationed in Alaska. Unfortunately when i bought my celica from a member on here I didn'tf know that the car has been in multiple accidents and that the car was starting to rust (cheap paint job on bumpers, carfax was clean, title clean). So i will never make the mistake of buying a car without checking it out myself.

One of my bulbs went out so i decided to snap a pic of the jdm tails/ juicy booty and led plate lights

Bought a greddy sp2 exhaust a almost 3 years ago from a member who parted his car. This is my first time ive ever opened the box and got to look at it because I had it shipped to my dads place because shipping was alot cheaper. laugh.gif so happy with it, even though my car is a st now =/

Jdm headlights are a must have! But cant install untill i find a new facelift bumper and driver side fender =(

Purchased a set of custom enkei RPF1s (17x9 +35) from a FRS forum awhile back. Waiting to install when i can afford tires and coilovers

here they are fitted on my old celi that i sold to my buddy
biggrin.gif

Jdm toms lip that needs a tiny bit of work and it was shipped to alaska with perfect tabs for a great price thumbsup.gif

SS-iii Rear splitters picked up from the same seller as the toms lip

kinda happy that my new celica didnt come with factory side skirts since they leave holes in the side of the body but now i gotta find another pair =/

Thanks for looking guys, just wanted to share since ive been really excited and happy with the new almost mint celica that ive always dreamed of.

8 NOV 2014
just lowered on megan racing street series (factory height setting)
Moog ® /Mevotech (F) endlinks installed
ordered some racing beat endlinks for the rears for later
all season hankook tires mounted (225-45-17) on
enkei RPF1s (17x9 +35) and secured with
Muteki open face SR48 lugs

Pics will be posted soon

*HELP!* Weird sound coming from the rear, sounds like the rear top mounts are rubbing against the body (chirping metalish sound when going over bumps but doesnt happen when driving straight)

i torqued the top mount bolts at like 30 ft/lb
and both endlinks are around the same torque spec
Can anyone help with this? or is it something i have to live with...

had it aligned but the guy told me to get my fenders rolled before he aligns the rears, does have negative camber at the moment
