People that don't own them talk crap about them. I've never met an owner that didn't like theirs! I have them in almost all my cars.

I feel as though there's nearly a century of trial and error behind the now near-perfect mirror hanging from my windshield. If the engineers had felt the need for a bigger mirror, they would put a bigger mirror in my car. Instead, they put a mirror in the car that allows me to see out of my entire rear window and maintain visibility through the windshield and as 95celicaST just said, I also still have the use of my sun visors. There's no reason in the world why I should see out of my rear window and then see my whole back seat, my whole forehead, my passenger's forehead, etc. Practicality is key. I'm sure people with Helluflushed cars can't figure out why other people don't like it.

I'm sure the engineers spent nearly a century of trial and error behind the now near-perfect cupholders and also felt that the cup holders are flawless as well in that it will never get in the way of shifting when you have 2 size Large drinks in them?(i've driven a buddies stick celi before and it was annoying) lol. I've never had any trouble dealing with sunlight with the wink mirror, nor has my passengers foreheads ever been in the way. it helps you see and be aware of a lot more when you're driving and you're also able to see your blind spots with it without having to turn your head(this doesn't mean i don't turn every now and then). It helps enhance and improve your awareness of your surroundings so I don't see any problems with that. It's functional, unlike hellaflush. I have no idea how you'd even compare the two. try to keep an open-mind. If you've had one before or drove another celi that has had one and you didn't like it, then I guess it just didn't work out for you. But if you're just saying this without ever experiencing it then..you should try it. lol. but in the end, it all goes down to the whole "different things work for different people, its not your car so let others enjoy and do whatever they want with theirs" sorta thing.

sunwukongg i think he was just giving his opinion. Cant blame him for expressing it. We all do, every now and then. That rear view mirror is hideous period.

The only time I see that mirror being practical is if you have racing seats that for some reason limit your ability to look over your shoulder and look behind you.

i wasnt blaming him for anything. i wasnt even hating on him. if it looked like i did then im sorry. i was just giving him the perspective of someone who owns a wink mirror. lol. like i said at the end of my comment, different things work for different people. to each their own.

Theres no need to get rid of your visors. They make mounts that mount it directly to the windshield similar to an oem rear view. Like I said before people that don't have them don't like them. I enjoy the increased visibility I get from using them.

^Can you just mount it to the roof..? Apparently mounting it to the windshield tends to shake a bit...

HOLY $%*! its like thats what it was made for. I sway both ways on it and its true people who dont hav them dont like it, they are quite useful. I simply dont like them because of the ricer effect (someone somewhere does something for a good reason then every person with 2f2f honda has to do it to), like roof racks, and those stupid toe hooks.
quick Q y do people feel the need for those do they plan on getting stuck in a ditch a lot?

Buddy has one on his MK2 Golf. It's nice on his car because he put on flush mirrors on the sides and they're practically unusable. Personally, I like my adjustable blind spot mirrors to add more vision. Unless you run serious circuit racing with awesome racing seats and a 4 point harness, I don't see the point... personally.

Hey, I'm not taking any offense from anyone. I've driven a Civic with a Wink mirror and it took me all of 5 minutes to become infuriated with it. There's a fine line between added usefulness and seeing wayyyy too much, and I felt that the mirror showed me way more than I need to or care to see. Some people like them, I personally couldn't stand one in my own car. My comparison between a Wink mirror and Hellaflush was just to say that people fall into trends and love it at the time and can't see why other people can't stand it. It's all a look and personal preference and I just find the mirror to be entirely too much and useless as far as added vision goes. It's not really showing me what's going on outside the car so much as it was showing me what was happening in every nook and cranny inside the car.

Well I guess I've just gotten used to it because it helps me see a lot more on the outside and the things going on inside don't bother or phase me.

With my ADD, I'd be looking at the mirror more than driving lmao.
