IMO the super sequential bovs sounds too rice and gay, and every silvia/skyline or wrx has one.
Im using a Turbosmart supersonic, as far as bovs go its pretty good, doesnt sounds high pitched like the other ones, more of the whoosh sound you get from high flowing bovs.

like this

supersonic on s5 13b turbo

its really a matter of personal prefrence.
installing on on a 3rd gen with the TMIC is super simple, just a 1" adapter, and a peice of rad hose is all thats needed.

i have had the SSQV for years. i still like it, i pulled the center fin thingy to get more of a woosh than a chrip.
they do make 2 or 3 diffrent inserts for diffrent tones.

Stick a trumpet or a train whistle on your bov that would break necks! (in a bad way) lol jk.
youtube: Trumpet BOV
youtube: Train whistle BOV
Would a 1.5" flange adapter with T-Bolt hose clamp be adequate for installing a bov on the hose where the bypass valve is in a 3rd gen 3SGTE?
Can I find T-Bolt hose clamps at a local hardware store or at a automotive store?

Synapse theory is ****. I'm sure his engineering is great, but the leaking bov while throttle closed theory is rubbish, best have it build up against the throttle than release it, not only that the synapse bov sounds so gay, did u hear his s2000? bov sounds pathetic.

SSQV is best in design and operation, you dont need the whistle sound if you dont want, you get 2 attachments the whistle attachment, and a plumb back attachment. you can use either or none at all, if you use none at all it will sound like any other high flowing bov.

i use the plumb back, imo is the best, best for power, response, noise isnt so loud but does make a cool "tutututu-shhhh" sound but not important anyways, my exhaust sounds so freaking cool as does a garrett ballbearing turbo sucking thru a K&N filter on the end of a straight intake..
