I just came to realize that my compressor cant keep up with me, as it starves a lot.

single stage double stage, single, twin piston?

what are u guys running.

I barely get 4cfm at 90 psi, i need at least 7 or 9 at 90 psi to run a blaster properly, and porper paint guns at 40 psi that require 10 cfm.

so, i know nothing that has wheels will help me, and its going to be 220 volts,

but just in case if you have something let me know what u are using.

I have a 2hp single piston motor, 110volts with 26 gallon tank.

Good thread - I'm interested too, as I've finally talked my wifey into letting me upgrade the compressor.

Mine, however, doesn't need to be portable. In fact, the less portable; the better. smile.gif

Uh...big.

I think the green one is like 100-120 gallons, 2 stage (or maybe just two cylinder?), around 5hp motor I think. I never looked at it too hard...I just use it. I know its 220 volt and has its OWN 30 amp breaker.

the compressor is sold by tractor supply

http://www.tractorsupply.com/tools/air-com...pressor-3310006

60 gallon, 3hp engine, 220 volts.

Flow Rate : 11.5 SCFM @ 40 PSI, 10.2 SCFM @ 90

the compressor itself is 400, plus accessories, comes to 600 (filter, hose, regulator, breaker etc)

any comments, i have not bought it but is the most affordable to date.

Cool, that crate actually makes a good stand so it won't vibrate the floor/house as badly. It also gets it up off the floor so accessing the drain valve is easier.

using a da takes a lot of air. I think my garage compressor kept setting the circuit breaker for it loose every 5 mins.
