im almost ready to drop in my 3rd gen 3sge in my 99 gt, but im debating whether to change the timming belt and tensioneer, but from what my importer/friend told me is that,, from what he remembers is that the 3rd gen ge timming belt is diff from the 1st gen ge and diff from 2nd gen gte. i had found a belt from austrailia, but i was wondering if anyone has tried using the components from a 2nd gen3sgte and swaped them over to the 3rdgen 3sge? seein since im from so cal 3rd gen 3sge is a little hard to come bye. if worse comes to worse ill drop it in like that and figure it out later

Both of the Gen 3 engines (3S-GTE and 3S-GE) use the same timing belt (13568-79105) the Gen 2 is different part number.
