Ive read of the consequence not lookin for lextures on structural integrity guys como lets just talk about wheter its a cool idea or not
Lets forget about money and specifics of physics and focus on wheter it would be a cool look or not

I personally love the idea, and would give it something no one else has.
As far as practicality, and work involved (or money if ur rich tongue.gif) I dont think its worth it.
But hey if your trying either way all the luck to you, I hope it can be done easy for your sake laugh.gif GL smile.gif

I think his car had a moonroof and he put a carbon fiber plug in the hole to save weight.

I say screw T Tops. If you're cutting your roof, go all the way for a Targa top.

hahaha

to do this cheap as possible without reinventing the wheel

1. get a convertible
2. get a wrecked coupe..

the convertible body is already reinforced, its a no brainer..

the coupe will need to have the rear or whole top roof cut off and reweld it into the vert..

then have fun and experiment whether you want a targa top or t-top... or a removable hard-top...

have fun expeimenting...

the convertible body is already reinforced, its a no brainer.. no brain at all you need to reinforce the roof

the coupe will need to have the rear or whole top roof cut off and reweld it into the vert..

then have fun and experiment whether you want a targa top or t-top... or a removable hard-top... and no one said removable hard top and if it was a removable hard top am pretty positive thats probably been done also

have fun expeimenting...

thats actually ALOT more expensive as now youll need to reweld a whole lot more and possibly have to do some custom work as am pretty sure the hatch and the vert have very different roofs and supports so a big nono
