Sup everyone, I just finished putting my engine back into the car. When I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. My dashboard didnt turn on or make any noises. Only the horn is working, and the lock/unlock button..thats it nothing else. I double checked all my connectors but evrything seems fine.

Do you guys have any idea what could be wrong? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

That plug was a bit loose, some of the components work now, but the check engine light is not turning on, I dont hear the fuel pump pressurizing and I cant crank. Thanks. I will keep looking at the connectors see if I find something else that might be loose. It seems the ecu is not getting power.

CHECK YOUR EA1 plug again, there may be little plastic there that can partially block connection, its happened to me
its the big plug you say was loose... in fusebox engine bay

I double checked the big plug but it clicks and theres no debri or damaged wires. Can it be that my ecu is completely dead? Can I test with an ecu from a camry stick/5sfe engine? Cause my brother has a camry.

Or how can I run power to my ecu directly, to test it?

check efi relay, check your efi fuse in the engine bay fuse box. if both are ok check that u have power on the b+ pin in your diag box

I check the efi fuse n relay, I used the ones from my brothers car. I check the b+ port in the diag box n theres no power there, I checked all other ports too but no power either. Battery Is charged, all accesories turn on. Is there another fuse I can try to replace? Maybe somewhere inside the car? Why is there no power to the diagnostic box?

It may sound like a dumb question, but it needs to be asked.

Yeah they are all connected.i was testing those yesterday to see if thee was power getting there. some pins do have power but I didnt finish testing all, it got late. Also I'm not sure which ones are supposed to have power. I'm just checking the ones that connect to the ecu. Lastly, what does it mean when thers no power to the B+ pin in the diagnostic box? It tested as a ground when I tested it.

power goes like this...

Battery > main fuse > 15a EFI fuse > EFI relay (split1) >B+ in diag box, B+ to ECU, B+ to various VSVs and the IAC.

split 1 > circuit opening relay > FP, and FP pin in diag box.

so ignition on u should have 12v at the b+ pin in the diag box.

if not pull the efi fuse and check that one of the two pins has 12v to ground. if yes check that pin 3 of the EFI relay has 12v to ground.

I tested the efi fuse n there was power To it, there was also power to pin 3 on the efi relay, but no power to the b+ pin on the diagnostic box. I thought it was a bad efi relay, so I tried 3 different ones, still no power on b+ pin. I ran direct power to it, and my check engine light came back on. I then jumped pin e1 and te1 and the check engine light never stoped blinking, it was a continuous blink. With direct power to the b+ pin I then jumped it to my fuel pump, and sure enough it presurized. I still wasnt able to crank.......

check pin 5 of the starter relay for 12v (ign off or on)

check pin 1 of the efi relay for 12v with ignition on.

im trying to help you narrow down where the issue is. right now it looks like it could be the main, am2, st, or ign fuses or the wiring between them.

the constant blinking of the cel shows its not detecting any issues.. which doesnt say much lol
