Hey guys, the car's been sitting for 2 years and I have 3/4 of a tank of gas in there!
I've been prepping the car to run again. I was wondering, how do I drain the gas in the tank so I can fill it with fresh stuff before I start her up again? I can't seem to find anything on a drain plug. I have a pump but whenever I try to get the hose down into the tank it won't go all the way (as if there's a anti-siphoning device somewhere along the way). Thanks a lot in advance! ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

just run it, my All-Trac sat for 3 years and it fired right up. the only way to drain the tank is stick a hose in the gas fill hole and suck it out.

the gas going bad thing isnt much of an issue with the fact the tank is air tight. if it really concerns you u can disconnect the return line and hook up another hose to it and route that hose to whatevr u drain into, bridge fp & b+ in the diag box, and use the ignition key to start n stop flow.

Hey guys, my tank isn't air tight as there is a small crack in the filler sleeve. I can't find out how to drain the damn tank unless I get into the fuel pump - which I really don't want to do.. Looks like I'll go with adding Seafoam and preying when I start her back up again
