hey guys. Well me and my girlfriend need some help finding parts for future mods on her 94 GT'. its kind of a beater, like the body is pretty beat but it runs great and interior is good. We just re-did the exhaust. I got a cheap 4"outlet muffler off of ebay and me and my buddy made a custom exhaust. ran it catless with a resonator in the mid-pipe. looks and sounds excellent. And sounds even better now cuz just a few days ago we put a ebay intake on it. As you can tell we dont want to put a whole lot of money into it. Its kinda a budget build. But next mods we wanna do are some lowering springs and new shocks all around. im pretty sure the front ones are shot cuz they clunk when hittting decent sized bumps. So where can i get a decently cheap set of lowering springs and shocks? Also im not sure if this is even possible or not... but in my car "92' 3000GT VR4" i have a WOTBOX 2 step with no lift to shift feature as well. She wants to put one of these units in her car but not sure if anyone has done it on a NA. Has anyone done this? and how did you guys hook it up? We will greatly appreciate any advice or guidance. thanks!

as for springs u can get some tien or eichbach springs from ebay.
KYB GR-2 are stock replacements that can handle being lowered 1.5" modding a celica with an idea of getting extra power isnt cheap also u can try the ebay headers to get a little more pep. u can also advance your ignition timing to 15* BTC to gain ~5-8HP only if u can afford atleast midgrade gas -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated. loosen the bolts that hold in the distributor and shift it back to 15 degrees Before Top Dead Center. Be careful though, if you shift your distributor and you start to hear pinging when the engine is running then back it off a 3 or 4 degrees. The best way to do this is on a dyno, but that costs a lot. Some people loosen the distributor and turn until the engine starts pinging, then they back it off until it's not. This actually degrades your performance if you are that close to pinging. It's hard to explain, I could easily show you if we were at a dyno, but we aren't. You have to back it off 3 - 5 degrees from the pinging, depending on the engine. if other people say 15 degrees works for them on their engine then go by 15 degrees.

15 seems the safest bet for most of these engines, but please use a timing light..
