What up. new here and was wondering if someone could help me out. I just bought a 94 celica Gt a few weeks ago with 140691 miles on it and an AIRBAG light on, **** is annoying. What needs to be done to turn it off? Do i need a new airbag module or have it reset? any suggestions would be great. thanks

First you have to get it scanned for codes. Then erase the codes. Then if the light comes back, scan again for codes and diagnose them accordingly......Or you could put a bit of black electrical tape over the light.

usually cars this old are not worth repairing any air bag codes, unless you have a really good deal or free parts. Some just remove the bulb or fuse sometimes. its more of a safety requirement, but a lot of cars with aftermarket steering wheels don't have em anymore. Is it something by law your state requires?
