I tried to fit my water hoses to the radiator of my st204 from the Gen III 3sgte the other day since I'm nearing completion and all I really have left to do is find some individual coils, finish my rewire, and get an oil feed for my turbo. The radiator hose bumps the turbo. I'm running a FMIC air to air setup, I believe the stock GT4 3sgte setup is water to air IC. So I will be running the top radiator hose straight from the head to the rad. My questions are where to get a hose that has the bends that I need to go around the turbo? Is there a car that this hose is made for? I'm good friends with the guys at Napa so I might just take the hose there and have them try to find a hose that has the bends I need. I'm sure there is a car out there that I can use the hose from. I have both coolant necks from the 3sge and the 3sgte, right now I'll probably use the 3sge one because it seems easier to find a hose to fit it, the 3sgte one angles down a bit, but it has more water nipples. I'll figure it out I'm sure. I would really like to know about the radiator though. I'm tempted to get another radiator that has the top water inlet more towards the driverside, but that would require finding a radiator that fits AND a radiator hose that fits. Any input?

Any input? its easy bro, go to ebay and search St205 rad hose, you'll see countless silicone hoses that have the bends you'll need, if your setup is close enough to that of st205. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 Turbo 4WD, Black

i used my stock 5s rad hose for my setup, does your piping get in the way or just the turbo?

I'm not running a TMIC, so I have what I was told is the 3sge non-turbo coolant neck for the upper radiator hose(one on the side of the head). My problem is when I try to fit the hose from there to the radiator, it bumps the turbo. I'm in the mainland right now, I'll get back to Hawaii tomorrow and probably look at it Friday if I can. It's at my friends house because I don't have room, so I have to wait until he's home to play around with it.

im running a front mount too, you dont need a different rad hose unless your piping is in the way, my 5s hoe goes right around the turbo with no problem.
![]() what you will have to do is shorten it just a little bit because the hoser is a little bit to long and puts a slight kink in the hose which will prevent the coolant from flowing properly This post has been edited by Ted95: Nov 10, 2011 - 10:44 PM -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

nice setup..I was going to try to clock my turbo and go down the driver side and up from the IC on the passenger side. I though there would be too many hoses doing it the way you did yours, but I guess not. It looks a lot cleaner that I thought it would. I might do welds to make it look really clean, only thing is I've never welded aluminum before, so we'll see how that goes. Maybe I won't clock it after all.

thanks man, ya there really isnt a need to clock the turbo, people say it less piping that way but with the sharp bends and stuff it adds up to be the same thing. as for the hoses, it goes right around the turbo with no problem as you can see. and welding aluminum is very tricky, i cant do it myself i had Manny do it for me, it came out really well, im happy with it.
