Hey guys my problem that I am having is that when I hold rpm at 2000 the needle moves up and down while I am pressing the gas at 2000 its not a big up and down its really small. Also I have engine hisation problems when I'm holding a speed like 40mph. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and that they fixed it. 95 2.2L 4 Manual trans.

Do a full tune up first.
do the RPMs change much when you're holding a steady speed when this happens? -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated. tune up is one way to check, plus you can tell by when teh last time you did it or if you didn't do it, . simple check although only the spark plugs, you can easily see the condition of those. if thats not the case, then let us know what else is wrong. sometimes just changing the spark plugs by itself just to test you will determine if thats it and the problem goes away and theyre cheap. but just do the tune up if you havent done so in a while. is the problem also on startup or idle?

Change the spark plugs, check for the air filter and fuel filter. Also check if your throttle body is all clogged up.
