I love the look of the duckbill on mannys car.. Im thinking no more wing, i like sleeper look..
Does anyone have an idea on how that will look on a coupe... by any chance, does it even exist.. Anyone with interest in making one... this vs this on a coupe... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... i like the duckbill but not molded or shaved into panel, i like the accent lines. for a coupe if you got it to fit on right, it would just look simple which is still ok. I think it just looks better with the hatch the way the window curves down next to the rear than a coupe.

ive been doin my own research on a duckbill style spoiler for my coupe for sometime now. ive been lookin at the universal trunk lip spoilers on ebay.
what i found was this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Painted-Mazda-6-2n...=item4aaf42921e its a universal flexible lip that you can put on your trunk. now the mazda 6 trunk i almost the same size in length with our coupe trunks. (my friend has one and the measurements are close, i forget the length off the top of my head) my plan was to just mold it to my trunk as desired and then simply paint it. i think it will look alright, i mean its not an exact "duckbill" spoiler but its the closet thing i could find. if anyone else has found anythin please feel free to inform us lol This post has been edited by Ted95: Oct 21, 2011 - 1:55 PM -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

just looked at it, and definetely prefer the duckbill, too big. and i want a sleek look.... my old man has been doin body work and such for 30+ years and i basically have a fully body shop in my backyard, im going to try and see if i can make a make one and make a mold for copies. now you would want basically the same duckbill version for a hatch only on a coupe? i have a few ideas on how to do this, gunna look more into it today at work. any recommendations on looks feel free to write about it so i have an idea what people might be looking for. -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

i think i found the base i am looking for to start this project with. its a trunk spoiler off of a 95-02 chevy cavalier. it has the celica duckbill DNA if you will and i believe will be a good base to build off of. this wont b an over night project, it will take time to do with my own funds and school and work and such but in do time i believe it can be done.
this is what im thinking about starting off with, let me kno what you guys think. im going to try and get this to fit the coupes trunk and look as close as i can to look like the hatches duckbill, like i said it will take time, its going to be the winter project for sure while the car is in the garage and ill be able to work on it. thoughts? -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe
