I NEVER scraped when dropped on my Eibach Sportlines. I barely scrape tucking wheels with my D2 Coilovers... the only thing that scrapes is my low hanging exhaust and sometimes the front splitters. You'll be fine with TRD's. Your roads can't be worse than upstate NY roads.

that's good to know. yeah, I know TRD and Eibachs aren't that big of a drop so I'm not too worried.

Working on my car is always 1 step forward, 2 steps back, then 2 steps forward and one step back... depends on what I'm fixing, but it usually ends in rusty broken bolts and more repairs than I need to do.

LOL. yeah I know. I love them. I looked for mine for a long time. Trying to find a decent set without curb rash and whatnot. Most people use them for winter tires here so they suck. hahahah.

I think it matches my style that i'm going for. OEM/JDM stuff so it only makes sense that a set of OEM rims will match my car. I've never liked too many aftermarket rims and the ones I like are out of my current price range. hahaaha.

My old ones had a mean curb dent and a lot of curb rashes from the previous owner. I'm thinking of getting a set again next year. Lol.

SMALL UPDATE FOR TODAY:
changed my oil finally after about 2 weeks being overdue but didn't drive it anyways. just sat in the garage.
also, change my brake pads to EBC Green Stuff and man!!! what a difference!!! they bite like crazy.

hahah. look around craigslist or newcelica forum. they're always selling them.

ANOTHER UPDATE:

after 3+ years of having the trunk drop on my head during winter I've finally replace my struts for the hatch.
bought them off ebay from a company in Wisconsin funny enough. but they work great. easy 3 min install lol.
but they're quite strong even with my spoiler+euroblock combo. springs right up.

Mine were blown so I bought new Monroe ones from rockauto before the winter and they're already done again...

no, it was all plug and play. the control stalk just switches out with a few screws and then I just crawled under the driver's side and plugged in the relay. I already had the fuse for it strangely enough. but not sure for yours since yours is pre-facelift and I don't know if you have the wires for it as mine is all there.
