hey whats up guys, im in the process of turbo charging my 94 gt. everything is pretty much stock. i just rebuild the whole engine and ported and polished the head. i got all my parts ready, just had a few questions here they are:

i got some rx7 460cc injectors: are these too big, if im just gonna run about 10psi?

i was also looking to buy a water/meth injection kit, will this benefit me if again, im running about 10 psi?

i was also thinking of getting something to control the ignition timing ( MSD BTM), do i really need it " " " " " "?

lastly, is it safe to run more than 10 psi on the stock block with the above components?

any input/ recommendations is greatly appreciated =]

my set-up:
460cc rx7 injectors
26x12x3 FMIC/ 2.75" piping
generic t3t4 turbo, trim .50, a/r .63
SSBOV
AEM wideband 02
stock fuel pump

your gonna need somthing to tune with anyway, so no. [b]

yes.

no, although as you up the boost, with a unit like the emanage ultimate can control timing, fuel, and a bunch of other stuff as well

supershannon77 has a great build thread that use the same turbo. she made ~240whp @ ~11.5 psi, and ~ 285whp @almost 17psi.
tuning was done with an SAFCII or Neo, i cant remember, its been that long..lol its prolly in the thread.
you will kill the motor with the stock fuel pump. a walbro is cheap (100 or less), and pretty easy to install. get a foam sock for it, and it actually wont even be loud, like most people talk about.
check out this thread that basicly takes you thru her whole build.

thanks for all that info!

made a bit more research, but i dont want to get the emanage right now.

will i be ok to just use the SAFCII to control the injectors?

i called a local tuner and he said if we use the SAFCII i would only be able to run about 8psi with my set-up and that my injectors would almost be maxed out, is that true?

not with the 460's those are big enough to run about 12 psi

You obviously didn't read the thread I linked.
I ran almost 17psi, controlled by an safc on shannons car, and still had to pull fuel, with the same turbo you want to run.

well there is your answer, i was just being conservative on my estimate. 460s should be good for quite a bit of boost with out return style fuel systems
