I'm new to the Import side of cars and just recently picked up a 94 Celica ST to get some better fuel mileage and a winter car.

The car has pretty high mileage at around 227k and I was thinking if I needed to swap the motor, what kind of vehicles could I source it from?
I've read on the forums but couldn't really find anything about the different 7afe's specifically that would vary from one car to another so I wanted to ask.

I'm lost in the import market, I've always been on the domestic side of things with sbc's. Any help would be appreciated and it's not a dire need to know
just mainly a curiosity to learn in case I ever have to venture down that road.

94 and 95 corrola, celica, and some geo's.. are all OBDI, then you have 96 through 99.. (i think, on the 99, might be 98) are OBDII, not much of a diffrence, but just to make it easyer for ya, try and find a 94-95..

just rebuild yours. new bearings, new rings, hone the cylinder walls, lap the valves, and replace all the gaskets. it will be like new. i wrote a good thread on how to put it all back together.

I was just curious if anyone knew what cars were direct replacements in case I needed to source a motor or parts
