If I were to buy 17" rims, would I really need to lower my car or would I be able to keep it as is with out it looking goofy?

I got coilovers and heres pics of my celica, lowered 4" with 17' Rims

But, if you wanna go for a smooth ride and best ride quality go for Eibach sportline 1.5 springs and body kit if is your Choice. biggrin.gif

ill put 17" on mine with 40 profile tires ...without lowering it

ehh.... I would say that with 17's you shouldn't need to lower it. However your still gona have a HUGE wheel gap. So I would lower it at least 1.5". Ive got the sportlines on mine and the ride is good.

I have 17's w/ 40 profile tires. Mine looks ok, way better than just factory IMHO but i still want to get the Eibach sportlines to lower it.

i just put on my new 17" with 40 profile tires......and i still have a nice gap so yup i purchased my Eibachs should be coming in soon

no way thats is 4 inches LOL... might wana recheck that man, 4 inches from stock would be on the grounddddd and yours looks about the same as mine and mines not even 2 lol
