I decided to buy some coil spring clamps rather than getting the Eibach sportlines, for now. I may get the springs later when i have more $. Anyway.... I was wondering if anyone has used these clamps. They clamp the coil springs in order to lower the car and are supposed to ride like factory. I know that some have a reputation of breaking if you hit a big bump, but what are the risks if they do break? Could it do any serious damage to my car? Thanx.

I don't think you should put them on your car. If they break it could rip your hydrolic break line which would be bad to say the least.

I have a friend who has had them on for over a year and he has not had a problem. They ride well and he likes them. I would just suggest putting loctite on the bolts.
