Most everyone is in southern ohio
So the places mentioned should work the best

really? because I would think we'd want something closer to Cincinnati or Dayton. or on 71 between Cincinnati and Columbus. that'd be further south?
Just a thought, I'm still down for pretty much whatever.

no offense, but what the hell is there to do in dayton/cinci area with cars that handle like these?!?....

Maybe we could get some maps with proposed driving roads highlighted so we can compare the roads? Otherwise, Chillicothe does seem to be suggested quite a bit.

Yeah, thanks. I saw that the first time you posted rolleyes.gif There have been other proposed meeting places and routes as well, and I'd like to see those, as I'm sure other members would.

Dan I feel ya, I think Chilli is as centrally located as one can legitimately get to good driving roads. I know it's quite a hike for those Cincinnati guys at about 1:45 min drive there.

I can neither confirm or deny Tyler's proposed route, but what I know is that the stretch of 56 from Laurelvill to the "point C" is my favorite drive in the state of ohio that I've had the pleasure of cruising on. If it's a warm day, end of march, you can ride windows down, sun roof back, through hocking hills, with just enough nip in the air to make the hair on your arms stand up, and the sounds of exhaust coming off the valley walls as you pass the caves ( only about 1.5 miles worth though) is just awesome. So this Route to McArthur, and then some guys can hop back on 32 to go back to cincy, others can get on 50 to go to chilli and then back to columbus, and then whoever needs to go east can go east.

Like I said, this is just what I know, and Tyler's route could be chill too. But I was just giving a different option for a route.... But I do think that Chillicothe, if you want good driving roads within an hour, is as good as we're going to legitimately get.

The route has us going up 233 to 180 to get to laurelville. But if we started in Tar hollow, we might get a pretty scenic drive up 327 that could be better. Again, this just is a suggestion for driving roads.

Trace's proposed route.

That must be a pretty good route because my iPhone won't display it either tongue.gif I'll check on the computer when I get home.

I'm perfectly fine with Chillicothe. One of my mechanics at work used to live in Athens and he was telling me about it the other day. I'm in for Chilli as it does seem to be a favorite. Plus, Trace, you know I'm probably cruising back with you anyway so I might end up getting double the good roads. I vote Chillicothe and we make it official unless anyone has any objections. Just out of curiosity, where would we meet up for the meet and greet?

i'm trying to make the link on my phone so i know it'll work. I'll try to open it with my phone and see if it'll work.

Edit:
I can see it on my phone (android) but I had to do it in browser view instead of map app view. then had to click to the map link at the top for it to show.
It's kinda complicated because I have 3-4 different destinations, point to point. in the map app it's trying to fo from first point to last point and it isnt even doing the first point right lol
