Hey guys,

I have a 96 5SFE Manual Celica and Ive had this problem for the past couple months, its a P1300 engine code, ive replaced the ignition coil, and everything checked out ok, and my guess is the ecu

but this is the problem, it runs ok in gear, only when i come to a stop/idle it dies and it doesnt happen all the time, and the engine light comes on when the car dies in idle

any ideas?

change you're whole distributor, just changing the coil sometime wont fix the problem. Too bad you have an OBDII, I got a spare ECU I wouldn't mind driving out to help you. Could be your Ignition Module on the firewall side, that I have an extra also. Should be the same all through the years.
