i have a very stock 94 celica thats black. st 1.8l dont got a whole lot of money, so i just ruled out turbo. thinking of TWM short shifter and a body kit, along with a venom performance chip all after i put a cool air intake. im still pretty new with this, so i dont really know what i should do to it. too many options to decide from.

Chips are pointless. Don't go there.

Body kit? What kind did you have in mind? Also, being that it's a 94, you should save some money for basic repairs before you drop it all of aesthetics.

ive heard they are, i saw it and thought maybe, so i read the reviews and i dont think its for me. the only bodykit i can seem to find is VIS invader. and ive put 250 just into new breaks all around. everything except lines,, but i checked those and they are good. i mean i paid 1200 for it so its not exactly a beater, but its not the nicest. thats why im not even going to attempt to turbo it. i got 900 right now and i plan to not use all of it, and plus i got another 400 with taxes comin.

not that many great body kits for our car, what is your budget? you might want to do a gt-four conversion if you want agressive.

you need better search terms dude, for one just type in "94-99 celica" can type in "celica st205". "celica gt-four" stuff like that, the 7th gen short shifter will work 100% its not hard to install just takes time. im running a 7th gen short shifter and works great. on these cars its not like a RWD transmission where the shifter mounts inside the transmission, ours just mounts into a plastic box and has the shifter cables hooked up to it. i would not go with a vis bumper, just was a thread how a guy got a bumper and it did not fit what so ever. any body kit you get will need some custom fitting to get it installed.

ok. i tried searching that but didnt find much on gt-4. and i watched a vid with a TWM bein installed and the box needed modded. a 7th gen has that like bulge or what ever you wanna call it towards the bottom, so will i need to mod the shifter box at all in any way?

I read some where on here that the gt4 conversion requires gt4 mounting brackets and a bunch of other stuff and is not as simple as just swaping out your hood and bumper. True or false? I also read the post about the vis bumper not fitting correctly . His problem was he didn't test the bumper for correct fitment within the return period. I'm new to the 6gc world but ive had many bodykits on some of my previous cars and ive never had any problems as long as mounted correctly like any thing else. I think he just got really unlucky with his vis kit. Btw after I read about the gt4 requiring. All these extra parts I decided I was gonna go with the vis kit or there's another one that looks like a gt4 with a lip I was thinking bout getting with a carbon fiber gt4 lookalike hood.

There are other kits than a vis kit that look way better IMO. do a bit of searching and you will find them ( body kits, lip kits, splitters ect.)
