Well ive put 3.8 mile on her an everything seems to be ok

I do have a couple small oil leaks around the pan an the drain plug
So in giving this oil a coyple hundred miles then im going the drop the pan again an re seal it an put in the new drain plug

As of right now i dont want to put anything like that in an take a chance ofclogging the bearings or anything else
not saying it a bad product ive just read alot of bad things about dumping sludge cleaner in a 1mz
Im waiting to see how much gung is in the pan after a couple hundred miles.
Hoping none lol but dought thatll happen

Could try using synthetic oil, or a synthetic blend, for softening and removing sludge at a slower rate.

you can drop a quart of ATF in there. it'll clean up the sludge slowly ehough to not break off chunks.. turned insides of my engine from nasty brown to dark amber after a few oil change cycles

Be careful switching to synthetic. I ran Royal Purple in my 5sfe with 115,000 miles and it blew the oil pump gasket, the rear main seal and the oil cooler gasket. Its not concrete evidence but all 3 gaskets blew out about a week after putting synthetic in that 17 year old engine. I guess the additives in the conventional oil were holding the gaskets together.

Other than that I think synthetic is the ****. Superior in every way to conventional except for cost.

Mobil 1 has a "High Mileage" synthetic oil, not sure who all else does. Imagine high mileage synthetic would be the way to go though.
