So....right after I dropped my suspension with Megan coils, my car would shake/studder after 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd shift. At first I thought it was my engine mounts but it wasn't. My engine is fine. Transmission is good. It was right after I dropped it. Its probably dropped 3 some inches in the front. Now im stuck. Could it be my sway links? Sway bar? I've run out of ideas really. Feels likelike its rubbingto on something andto its trying to get over it. If anyone might know, help? Hehe thanks!

Going to be doing that this weekend and do a tire rotation. Tires have about 2k miles on them but I'll do that just in case. My sister's Honda Passport shook like a gigantic vibrator when she didn't rotate her tires. Ill be going under the car and checking for bad joints, bad links, or anything that is leaking in general...that will give me an idea of what I need to replace.

i drove it for 2k miles with no issues. the "shaking" started when i dropped it super low to the point where i had to remove the splash guards. i've driven it like that for a while with no issues. axles were replaced and boots were checked out. ill have to give it a super good look this saturday.

coils are tighted well. it was tripled checked before i even moved it.

I can feel the whole front end. At first it felt like mounts but it wasn't. Ill probably record it this Saturday. I've really run out of ideas.

Hm everything checked out fine. Couple things that could be are, yes, alignment and there's a leak coming from the exhaust manifold. I had a gasket leak on my 99 corolla and it shook a bit but not as much. Ill probably replace the manifold gasket and take it in for an alignment.

Axles? Maybe they're worn and dropping the car so low is putting them in a position where they're worn and will shake.

Is it a back and forth shake or a vibration (side-to-side + back-and-forth)

Could be alignment but axles do the same when they're bad... I had some really, really bad ones (the u joint circles that have rings on them were shaped like a capital letter D instead of an O

My girl friend has a Civic with a bad pass side CV axle. It'll pop in and out of the tranny and make a humming noise as well as violently shake the steering wheel for a second and then make a pop noise and is good again. It only happens when she isn't putting tension on the axle, like when she's driving at 30mph steady. Maybe your pass side that wasn't replaced is doing something similar, accept it's vibrating when you shift gears? Maybe lowering it put more strain on it since it was a new angle?

your car won't shake bad after dropping your car, unless you have poor tire balancing or greater suspension issues.

Double-check the mounts sometimes the cracks are not obvious, you can even have just a crack and not missing chunks and it will still shake like a b. it does not have to be missing chunks.

doublecheck your spark plugs although it is a small chance only cus it deals after you dropped it lower.
