I never heard a 3sgte with good exhaust system in my life. And i really like how sti sounds. Do the gt4 with good exhaust sounds like these sti's?? The deep and strong sound?

STi's are more rumbly on account of the flat-4 engine. I don't think an inline-4 will ever sound like a flat-4.

main reason you've never heard that sound out of a gt4: the gt4 is an I4 motor... sti is a boxer motor.. boxer motors have a very distinct tone

I've always heard good things about Magnaflow canisters with a 3S but I've only heard Stambo's 3S in person. That thing sounds mean. You should look up the video of Tufy's GT4 racing a Supra on YouTube.

Ive got a magnaflow on my 7a, still stock piping though.. not a bad tone at all, especially for a 7a.. but I would honestly rather have a Borla with 2.5-3" pipe if I had a 3s

Totally agree. Subaru's have such a nice tone.

I have the blitz exhaust and while it is deep, it doesn't have that brrrrrrr-noise the Subaru's get with an aftermarket exhausts.
I'll try get a vid of my exhaust so you can compare.

I hate the sound of the inline 4 cyl. more than anything. I ran straight pipe with a cat, no muffler. I wanted to commit suicide after driving it with less than a mile. I added a resonator and it's at least somewhat tolerable, still sounds like a fart machine.

I've never heard a single good sounding inline four engine ever, doesnt matter what or how much you spend on your exhaust it's still going to suck.

Like Rusty said, the wrx exhaust had unequal length manifolds. It's not a good thing.

I have to agree. I had a Soarer with the I6 1jz and even with an axle back exhaust it sounded better.
