Ive used grommets for the past 4 years

Mine are plastic. They've kept water out thus far, but I admit rain doesnt come often here.. also used some silicon adhesive that I can easily peel of if I need to, mainly on my old wiped location.

I have mine off atm, and ace is the place for those plasic caps, they work well. The 3 post also has a slot you will have to get creative with. Clear decals will work too.
