Hey all, had my gt4 for a month or so now and loving it ( other than being a poor student who cant pas for 98 octane)

Anyway i think its time to do a full exhaust system, all places in Auckland i've been to quoted me over a grand to do a turbo back exhuast?

So i went looking on ebay and i can import A OBX cat back system? anyone tried these

If you are still looking...I just put the OBX R on my GT4 and it fit perfect. It sounds just a bit louder than stock with the silencer in and I think a bit too loud with it out. Seems to run stronger with the silencer out. With the silencer in I get a whistle at around 6500-7000 RPM and I know it wasn't there before I put the exhaust on. I tried to video the sound with my phone but it doesn't work well.

I have a Berk downpipe for sw20 with gen 3 3sgte, custom mid, 3" kakimoto cat back and a high flow 100 cell magnaflow cat (welded into the midpipe).

All in it cost me around $1,000 CDN.

It is really loud. I like it.....I think a lot of people wouldn't though.

Easiest/cheapest way is probably to buy the downpipe, the get the rest made custom....at least up here it would be cheapest.

Make sure the exhaust is mandrel bent and not crush bent.

I finally added some sound clips for the OBX catback in the multimedia section since I was asked a couple of times. I have a GTFour with intake and standard cat and midpipe. The OBX is from the midpipe back not from the cat.
