I absolutely love the Euro lip look on the prefacelift bumper. However, since it is almost impossible, it seems, to actually get a Euro OEM lip, I'm thinking about going another way. If I was to buy a JDM SS-III front bumper does it just fit right on to the prefacelift front? Thanks

The SS-III bumper is exactly the same as the USDM facelift bumper, with the addition of splitters. The bumper is plug and play but has different turn signals. The splitters have been fitted to a preface bumper and still look food, though I would imagine there a slight gap in the center of the bumper.

richee3 is right, its easy and taking the old bumper off and putting the new one on. the sockets from turn signals are the same just the housing is different

94-95 bumper

remove old one and if you have a problem like me.......which to choose? tongue.gif biggrin.gif

96-99 bumper. an old pic before it was sprayed black

when it comes to bumpers theres no difference on the bottom side with the exception that the bottom center grill is different, so you can run the ss-III but with slight gaps on the center. Here an example below. Look where the splitter meets the front theres a small gap.

They're never "fused on..." The bumper and splitters are separate units. The splitters fit over the bumper and fenders, so molding or "fusing" them will need to be done by you or a body shop, which will make the bumper a pain to remove for any reason. The bumper is simply a facelift bumper that can be found on any '96+ bumper in the States.

eBay, or two members on here make replicas- vincent_doggy and dustin15brown. Check the buying/selling forum and you'll be able to find them.
