I am in process of doing conversion on my 93' celica. From stock automatic to 3sge engine. Due to lack of research and wanting to rush things when moving, I am in way over my head on this. If I had known what a hassel it would be when I started I probably wouldnt have gone with this engine at start.
So my problem is now I am trying to figure out what I need to do as far as brackets go for the transmission mounts. I know that the ones I have dont fit. Im know im not phrasing this the right way but IM hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Is this just something Im going to have to fabricate or does anyone know what I can use for them. Should it be stock for a 93' celica or should I match to the engine first and modify as need be from there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Or if you can point me to the right threads even since I cant seem to find something for 3sge (I know I can find the 3sgte, but that doesnt seem to help) This post has been edited by rdiaz: Mar 18, 2012 - 9:51 AM |

you'll get better 93 specific info on celicatech.net.
that said, youll wanna match the tranny brackets to the tranny/car your installing. for instance. if your swapping in a s54(i know that the 90-93 manual tranny is coded s53 or somthing, but im using 6th gen specific info here.) into a car that was auto, youll need the mounts and brackets from the s54 tranny as well. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
