supposedly you shouldnt have to change out any wiring. thats what i was told. maybe im wrong i hope not because im doing a swap also.

well i just finished swaping my tranny from the auto to the 5spd .
if any one wants to know i used the 5th gerenation swap info @ http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/atomconvi.htm it pritty much all the same until the wiring. right now i have the clutch start sitch bypassed becuase i cant find out how to wire that in but i know how you get it so the car will start and the reverse lights will work.

I have a 94 Gt manual(wrecked) and a 95 GT auto(my replacement) sitting in my driveway if you need some reference between the two models.I can check and see if they both have the same wiring harnesses, connectors,etc and how they connect if you like.Just let me know if you want something checked.

I plan on swapping the manual tranny out of my wrecked 94 into the auto 95 later on when I get the time and better weather comes, and I am curious to how hard this is to do and what exactly you had to switch between the models.So please let us know what parts you had to swap and how much of a pain is this swap.

I was also thinking about doing this swap, how much is this setting you back? You'd need to find a donor car for the tranny right? So...?
