After doing fender & bumper cover replacement, the right fender bulb went out. No biggie--got new 194 bulbs & replaced both.
On the way home from work, I noticed the temp got higher than it normally gets. Here's the deal-- Only have 1 fan that a PO had wired to the ignition, so it always come on when I start the Celica. Get home from& checked the fan-- nope, not running! Here is my Q-- I don't have access to a millimeter, I do have the thing that lights up when it gets power. What wire(s) should I test? Did NOT get over heated. Checking fuses when I get home tomorrow night. Tips & advice Greatly Appreciated!!! Thanks |

If its hooked up directly to 12V and it doesn't come on when your car is running then most likely your fan motor died. Unless by god, someone wired it up using a relay then I would suggest you check out the Fan relay and see if its still good.

Thanks for the reply soulshadow!
I'll look for a relay as I try to trace the wires. |

How the heck do I unplug the connector that's on the shrowd?? I can't get the 2 tiny things to release, the big 1 is no problem.
If I can get the blasted things to release I could run the wires to test the fan!! Also checked the fuses-- the regular 1s are good, the big square things look coroded. The square things are-- 30amp. 30amp. 30amp. 40amp. { these are inside the car, driver side in the fuse box } |
