Does anyone know what size brake lines we have?
I think it's somewhere around 1/8 or 1/4 of an inch. My rear drivers side line pretty much blew so I'm thinking about just patching it for now. This summer I want to run the rear lines through the car and out through the grommets where the abs wires would go. I converted to non-abs so I don't need those wires anymore. |

I would not try to patch , I had a brake line that was rubbing and I found it just in time. Here are some cheep ok lines for a 2.2 they may be same as 1.8 if that is what u drive. U will have to scroll to toyota/celica/so on it won't save the exact page. Also spray wd 40 on the connections before attempting to loosen. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php This post has been edited by xrav22: Mar 31, 2012 - 11:41 AM |

Well the line that had the leak is patched. When I say patched, I cut the line in half, put the nipple type piece things on each side, flared it, and connected both ends with a braided clutch line. In the summer I'm running both lines through the car so they can't rust again. I wish I could do the same with the fuel lines, but that's pretty dangerous. Thanks for the link though!
