Why USDM engine, just curious?
If it is for smog purpose, your choice is only the engine from from 94-95 MR2 Turbo.
And there are only handful of those.

what about the alltracs? They are USDM too. Unless hes looking for 3rd gen 3sgte

in cali they are so strict on emissions and crap. he can only put a motor from cali that is the same year or newer otherwise it won't pass smog. that's why his only choice is a 94-95 mr2t. atleast that's how i understand it.
the law most everywhere is that you can put a motor from a car that is the same year or newer but most places aren't as strict on that crap.
