alright i know this is a celi forum, but i cant find an answer anywhere else and this place never fails. i have a 96 saturn thats actually not mine, im borrowing it. well the battery died, so i jusmped it and let it run to charge, then i shut it off waited a few minutes and started it to double check. that was last night, today i woke up and wanted to go to the store and it wouldnt start. when i put my key in and turn it all the way the clock shuts off and goes back to factory time when i turn the key off. the battery is less than two years old. can anyone out there help me?

Sounds like loose or corroded battery terminals because you said everything(well the clock at least) shuts off when the key is turned to Start.

You can pour a soda drink onto the battery terminals or use baking soda and water. Pull the clamps off and wire brush them for best results. Now reattach the clamps and make sure theyre nice and tight. Finally, rub some grease over the terminals/clamps to keep them protected from battery acid.
