yeah, and your right. and i cant figure it out either, it must have to do with the popularity of the celica's in japan. I just dont like hondas, i had a 2005 honda civic, sold that cause i could never get comfy in (of course i only bought it for like 2,000 and sold it for 6500 so made 4500 lol). then bought a corolla and loved it more.

I'm not big on Honda either. Only one I'd want is the Civic VX, and that's just for its crazy good gas mileage. Maybe the S2000, but for what those cost I can think of other cars I'd much rather have. Had thought about the Integra for some time, but meh... I've seen some in person and they don't look as well built. That's the one thing about Toyota vehicles, at least of the 90's and earlier, they're just such well built vehicles. Especially next to a Civic, Sentra, Mirage, and definitely the Neon and Cavalier/Sunfire. The Celica for being a small car and only weighing some 2,400 pounds feels very sturdy and strong. I really wouldn't consider any other FWD vehicle.

Im not big with honda's either, or their owners for that matter. They just seem so obnoxious and act like they're hot shots because they own a honda with a motor that sounds like my lawn mower. Its sad really. As for the cars, the only model that catches my eyes is the integra, but not by much. I would never change my 94 celica or my trusty 95 corolla for a honda or acura badge ever.

Honda, to me is for fuel economy above all else. Which, is really how I feel about any FWD car to be honest. More so with the Honda vehicles though, at least the Celica handles nicely enough. I agree, all the Honda owners into "tuning" are annoying as Hell. All the other brands have cars I like, aside from Mitsubishi which I have nothing but hatred for. Of course Toyota had the Supra, MR2, RWD and AWD Celica, then the RWD Corolla. If I had been thinking I would've opted for an AE86 when I was car searching. Gets like 1 mpg less than the ST Celica, same power, a little lighter, and puts the power to the right wheels. That or go with the AE85 for a little less hp and carbureted(yay simplicity). Oh well, you know what they say about hindsight.

Mmm, roasted dragon. tongue.gif

You know you own a Celica(or maybe you're just severely OCD) when the car doesn't run exactly as it should so you keep messing with it.

I read that wrong... I was thinking, "if someone mugged me, I'd run them over, not race them..."

Also, on Hondas, tell me I'm not the only one that ****ing hates how the auto shifter always drops to D3 instead of regular drive... I mean wtf. And between the years of 92 and 97 (possibly earlier too, can't remember) they put the ****ing rotor behind the hub on accords... So very time you have to change a rotor, you have to take the hub or bearing or both off... Wtf. ****ing sewing machines they are... /rant

You know you own a celica when sometimes you just need to go for a long drive on a winding road to settle your nerves.

I wouldn't know anything about the Honda auto thing lol
Only had about a dozen hondas but no autos

I hated the front rotors on the 90-97 accords
I actually sold 1 just because I didn't feel like fighting the brakes to change them
No to mention it only had enough quarter panel metal to make up for one side lol
Damn Honda rot

Take that back our crv is auto (duh that's y I hate it )
It's got p,r,n,d,2,1
In that order

Honda, what gives? >.>

I've never owned one, but have had friends that did. One friend had an early 90's Accord, total piece of crap. Which leads me to another thing. It seems when it comes to Honda cars, they're either riced out or trashed out. Every now and then you'll see one in good stock condition, never see any that're tastefully modified though.

I'm just more a Toyota and Nissan guy when it comes to Japanese cars. Mazda had the RX7, but that means dealing with a rotary engine. tongue.gif

You know you own a celica when its on jackstands more than all 4 wheels....

Or when you get in another car and turn on the headlights.....you scratch your head wondering why they didnt flip up(5g/4g specific) then turn em back off and back on still waiting for them to flip up....(i do this everyday at work)
